Im investigating switches for the panel and came across these originally made for boating but they do have a certification in that so they may be good for this.

Today I worked on the front of the aircraft. I had previously cut the two boot cowl sides, but I worked on the "Tunnels" where the boot cowl sides connect to the belly pans.
I had to dry fit both the front and rear belly pans first, then dry fit the boot cowls to the door jams and firewall.
Next I focused on the windshield lower support and dry fit the windscreens in that support. I want to ensure everything is lining up now BEFORE drilling any holes.

Engine Mount
Took the engine mount, sanded it down, checked with dye penetrate and then primed. After the Prime I shot it with epoxy.

Stripping the left wing
The left wing came from the Ok parts run. This wing was covered in Razorback and someone painted it in this terrible primer. I have tried all kinds of paint stripper but nothing has worked. I guess I will have to try MEK.

Cutting new Boot cowl pieces.
I used .020 2024 T3 to cut the new Boot cowlings. I used the old ones as patterns.
